Dr. Aashrita Gurram Divakar was born in the US and graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. She earned her medical degree and completed her internship there before returning to the United States. Dr. Divakar is particularly interested in the academic rigors of internal medicine and is eager to contribute to the collaborative learning environment of the program, while serving a diverse patient population. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Divakar finds balance through her love for music. She is a culinary enthusiast who finds that experimenting with new recipes is her favorite way to decompress.
